Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Senior Designer (3-D/2-D) withh a leading company in Livonia, MI.
In this position candidates will be reponsible for:
Design brake components in CAD (3D + 2D) to meet packaging, structural, thermal and performance requirements Execute and/ or coordinate engineering design changes Manage TRW's CAD deliverables internally and in the customer's databases Interact with product engineers and customers to assure CAD deliverables and quality standards are met Perform package studies, GD&T analysis and tolerance stack-up studies
Requirements & Qualifications:
Automotive design engineering experience, preferably in chassis/ brake design Must have experience in UG-NX 5 or Catia V5 Demonstrated results of self motivation, self organization and self directing Good communication and presentation skills
Education:
Minimum Associate Degree in CAD,
Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering is desirable
