Description: ITT Residential & Commercial Water (RCW) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of pumps, systems and accessories for residential, municipal and commercial applications including water, wells, HVAC systems, pressure boosters, boiler controls and fire protection. ITT's brands serving Residential and Commercial Water markets include Gould's Pumps, Lowara, Bell & Gossett, McDonnell & Miller, Vogel, A-C Fire Pump and Flowtronex. Description: The Sr. Design Engineer in the Flow Control COE Americas is responsible for design and development of new products, product improvements, qualifications, safety and cost reduction projects. Manages new product development and product enhancement projects from Gate 2 through launch, working with and or leading a cross functional team. Consults and assists other functional areas as a design expert with problems concerning product designs, product requirements, schedules, manufacturability, design reviews, etc. when the problem cannot be solved by the support team. Must have a thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering technology, coupled with an extensive knowledge of product mechanism and functional operation. Should possess an aptitude for good analytical skills and the ability to organize and implement major engineering projects or programs. Should have the ability to get along well with others and to direct or receive direction from others. Experience: Requirements: --> B.S. Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred). Four years experience in design, analysis, and development of valves, boiler controls, or related hydronic/water system products. --> Ability to manage projects, preferably with a geographically dispersed team. --> Present good understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes, such as casting, machining, and injection molding. --> Proficiency with Pro/Engineer. --> Competence with FEA and CFD.
