Candidate must be able to work independently and with others on multiple projects Job Description: Our office is looking for a qualified candidate to join our Design Group as a Senior Civil Engineer. Management and design of civil engineering, site stormwater, and road projects; water/wastewater projects. Projects will include civil site and utility design, road/highway design, construction assistance. Your assignments could include design development for site utilities, drainage, site grading, storm drain/sewer system, water/wastewater/recycled water infrastructure and pipelines. The types of projects that you will work on include facilities, transportation structures/systems, hydraulic structures/systems, and water/wastewater systems for private clients as well as local, State, and Federal clients. We incorporate sustainable design concepts in our projects. The selected candidate will work very closely URS project managers, project engineers, and other staff professionals to develop engineering opinions, design recommendations, technical reports, and design documents such as plans, specification, and construction cost estimates/schedules. Support the marketing services to new and existing clients. The successful candidate must comply with URS' Corporate Health and Safety program and actively promote a strong safety culture.
