We provide innovative technology development, integration, and analysis to the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and the Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC) in their mission to combat and defeat networks that employ IEDs.
We are seeking a Senior Architect to develop and implement Information Technology (IT) vision and strategy to be used throughout our client's environment. You will establish and maintain an architecture framework for successful execution of mission support IT initiatives; Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of programs, projects and initiatives intended to improve the IT services used to support the mission; Conduct reviews and evaluations of the missions, goals, plans, programs and business processes to develop strategic IT plans for the client; Assess the impact of priority changes, from legislation, or new initiatives on existing plans; and Develop acceptable architecture related contract deliverables. You will provide expert advice and guidance for IT strategic planning; business and mission services; Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC); Enterprise Architecture (EA); Knowledge/Data Management, while maintaining existing information management technology capabilities to sustain customers through innovation and entrepreneurship. Experience Requirements: This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field and 10 years of experience, at least 8 years of which is in software engineering and architecture development. Candidates need to be familiar with spiral development methodologies and have experience creating a vision for software engineering and architecture activities, leading diverse teams to achieve goals and objectives, familiarity with performance based contracting environments, have knowledge of and experience in DoD and Intelligence Community environments, and have led system integration and date sharing initiatives.
We are seeking candidates who are experienced in business process improvement projects and initiatives ensuring compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures and architectures. Experience in Program/Project Management and Software Development is desirable.
