Synopsis: The overall goal of the JTCOIC is to provide expertise and training to units deploying to theater on efficient and effective utilization of the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC). The JTCOIC is responsible for coordinating the training of deploying units on joint, national and interagency intelligence, CIED and emerging asymmetric capabilities gleaned from the JIEDDO COIC; integrating processes, practices, concepts and materiel capabilities into Joint and Service DOTMLPF solutions; and coordinating with the training centers to provide realistic enemy and environmental signatures into models and simulations in support of realistic intelligence collection and analysis.
Position is located in Quantico, Virginia.
Basic Functions: This billet involves managing security training, visit requests, maintaining and managing inventory control of classified material, and carrying out government security processes to include receiving and approving visit requests to use the MAGTF Integrated System Training Centers (MISTCs) located throughout the Marine Corps. The incumbent will ensure that incoming students and visitors are appropriately cleared for the instruction they are slated to receive during classified training events.
MAJOR DUTIES
1. Serve as the Security Manager�s advisor and assist the Assistant Security Manager in matters pertaining to the security of the classified information and material held at the facility.
2. Verify the clearance and eligibility of personnel requiring access to classified information and material.
3. Develop written information and personnel security procedures, including updates to the Emergency Action Plan (EAP).
4. Ensure that requests for personnel security investigations are properly prepared, submitted, monitored and adjudicated.
5. Coordinate command security awareness and training program.
6. Coordinate with the Information Assurance Manager and CMCC custodian on security matters.
7. Establish procedures to ensure all personnel leaving the command have completed a Security Termination Statement.
8. Maintain inventories on classified information and material.
� Competence with government databases related to security applications, i.e., JCAVS/JPAS, e-QIP and ISFD as well as MSOffice applications
� Familiarity with the preparation and issuance of subcontractor DD254s
� Recent experience in government or related security processes�minimum of five years.

� TS/SCI security clearance
