The Security Architect will be primarily responsible for managing the Security Infrastructure for a WAN with 600 locations and 10 major datacenters. Overall responsibilities of the role will encompass the following elements: Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco and Dragon intrusion detection and prevention systems, HIDS, Internet proxy and filtering solutions, (BlueCoat / Ironport), Managing multiple DMZ's with different levels of NAT/PAT, encryption and compression solutions, network monitoring, Voice, Video and securing enterprise routers and switches.
This is a lead role and the candidate is expected to manage external vendors and internal security engineering projects along with day to day security operations.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications to include:
In-depth Experience with Cisco ASA and IPS products
Experience with Control Management (Cisco ACS, RADIUS/TACACS)
Enterprise Messaging Security (Cisco IronPort)
Ability to quickly diagnose, identify root cause, and resolve the most unique and complex network and security (level 3) problems
Ability to conduct research into IT security issues and products
In-depth knowledge of network security, network monitoring, access controls, and administration tools
Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment
Knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technologies
Update management on risk and threat that could impact business
Deep understanding of network, application, database, and system penetration testing methodologies and tools
Client centric and able to work in a variety of environments, must be able to manage customer relationships
Ability to lead a team of engineers
Qualifications:
CCIE (Security) or other high level Industry certifications or equivalent experience
CISSP or equivalent experience
10 - 15 years of Networking experience with 5+ years of security specialization
Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance
