Description:

-Construct sales and marketing programs which will contribute to

achieving the Division and Group ROS and RONA objectives.

-Work with the credit manager in order to ensure accounts receivable are

kept current.

-Hire, develop and maintain a sales force which will consistently meet

the objectives of the Company, Group and Division.

-Direct the activities and training of the sales staff to ensure that

market plans and goals are consistent with and complimentary to the

departmental sales goals and cost requirements.

-Follow company and division guidelines to develop and maintain source

relationships with those sources that contribute to the sales and profit

generated from existing and new markets.

-Manage the assets (inventory and receivables) and applicable

departmental expenses to achieve the department and division goals.

-Maintain an awareness of marketplace opportunities and threats to the

success of xpedx.

-Participate in trade and source related activities.

-Provide leadership to the department so that all members have a common

focus.
