Parsons has the people and power to move the world. Need Parsons is seeking a Principal Project Manager to work with our Road & Highway team in the Chicago, IL. This ""seller doer"" will help grow Parsons' presence through business development activities, managing projects and programs, and overseeing staff in project execution. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of delivering road and highway design (Phase II) projects in the Chicago region.,
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and assisting in growing the depth and bench strength of the road and highway business in Chicago. This new hire will have support from our business development and operations teams to achieve these objectives.
Qualifications: - 15 years of project / department management experience on similar or related projects
- 4-year degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience with Illinois Tollway or IDOT is preferred
- Experience in managing a growing operation. Demonstrated capabilities to generate new sales from existing and new clients
- Professional Engineer registration is required
