Major Job Duties Include:
Major Job Duties Include: *Quality management system at Corporate Purchasing *Audit and provide feedback to improve purchasing quality methods and processes in compliance with Quality directives and regulations *Understand Bosch Quality Management, ISO 9000, ISO TS16949 and Bosch purchasing quality standards. Quality development of purchased parts, direct material, worldwide *Tracking of Quality targets (PPM & manufacturing disruptions (PLKZ) *Definition of need for action and initiation of additional measures (with appropriate with Bosch Quality Departments if actual measures are not sufficient to reach (RB)Robert Bosch targets *Coordinate with appropriate business units to make necessary adjustments in strategy to achieve targets *Roll-out and support of Q-related IT-tools Supplier development, direct material, worldwide *Support definition of Supplier Development (SD) method/trainings and coordination of Supplier Development activities in North America *Conduct supplier assessments and analyze the development needs. Form strategies that will support suppliers in meeting quality, delivery and cost requirements *Mentorship-projects with suppliers, that supply UBK and UBG/UBI as well *Lead of supplier working groups (Jishuken-groups) and SD- trainings and organization of internal information exchange Quality development and supplier development for trade goods and indirect material *Tracking of Quality targets, definition of need for action and initiation of additional measures (with appropriate business units), if actual measures are not sufficient to reach Robert Bosch target. * Corporate Social Responsibility activities with suppliers ' to include; coordination and execution of CSR audits
Minimum Job Requirements Include: *Engineering or Business Degree with preferable advance study in technical or business field *7 years of experience in Quality Assurance *Problem solving and supplier relationship experience * Tracking of Quality targets * Conduct supplier assessments and analyze the development needs *Second language abilities, preferably in German or Spanish
