Title: Quality Manager Location: FL, Jacksonville Req Number: SD-PA-RBOS17122 Position Description: THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARD POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Manager position is responsible for directing and managing quality assurance, inspection, and document control functions within the RBOS1 Program. This position must maintain full compliance to all Navy and ISO requirements. Responsible for QA Program implementation and the continuous improvement of product quality. Reporting indirectly to the Program Manager this position will be integral for implementation and maintenance of the program Quality Management System and ISO-9000 registration. This person will create and maintain Quality System documentation to ensure processes and documentation reflect current practices. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: 1. Maintain quality standards of ISO 9001 Certification. 2. Promote quality culture and policies by training the workforce in quality principles and objectives. 3. Interface with customers and suppliers to facilitate corrective action responses and reports. Make presentations or attend customer meetings regarding Quality Performance. 4. Maintain operational performance metrics. 5. Oversee internal and external audits. Spearhead corrective actions. 6. Interface with other functions to analyze data and provide solutions for quality issues. 7. Provide Quality leadership in the development/implementation of Standard Operating Procedures. 8. Implements a Risk Management Plan associated with the aforementioned activities. 9. Develops, maintains, and reports performance metrics which effectively measure the level of performance in execution of the SOW and IDIQ Task Orders. 10. Performs other duties and assignments as required. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Computers, Microsoft Office, contractor Enterprise Management System and other software products as required and standard office equipment/machinery. Experience Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: BS or BA or equivalent experience. Experience: At least 2 years experience in related position. ISO Auditor experience and certification. Six Sigma Certification and project experience. Must be able to communicate fluently in English. Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products. Use of statistical software or spreadsheet formulas. Problem solving and analytical skills required for improvement and audit tasks. Communications skills important in presenting findings, recommendation, reports, and presentations. Interpersonal skill important for all aspects to include auditing and negotiation.
