Diverse is in search of a Quality Inspector for a state of the art fabrication shop! This individual will have prior experience with welding, laser cutting and bending metals. This individual will also possess the skills and experience to run tests to ensure quality and implementation of proper techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years experience as well as the qualifications listed below:
- Assist in the development of Design and Process FMEAs, Control Plans and Flow Diagrams
- Assist in the continuous improvement of products and processes.
- Must be able to learn and adapt quickly to change.
- Perform destructive testing on welded components and assemblies to ensure their quality, working with a team of engineers to resolve issues and implement corrective action.
- Provide technical welding assistance to Engineering in the design of new products, giving input on weld design and controls.
- Lead in the improvement of the fab shop manufacturing processes, products through the use of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, etc.).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a fabrication shop
- Minimum of 3 years experience with ARC welding
