Quality Inspector I
This is an entry level position in the Quality Assurance Department, utilizing standard and CMM measuring equipment to demonstrate conformance of the product to customer and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. The successful Quality Inspector I will utilize standard and CMM measuring equipment to demonstrate conformance of the product to customer requirements and internal Quality Management System requirements. This position is temporary and is only expected to last 3 - 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and record data of composite parts and tooling using standard and CMM measuring equipment per procedures and customer requirements
Perform in-process verification of work instruction compliance on a regular basis
Immediately inform Production Supervisors and Quality Assurance Manager of non-compliance to work instructions
Maintain quality records as required
Requirements:
Experience with using Microsoft Excel Software
Ability to speak and write English fluently
High school diploma or GED minimum
MUST be a United States Citizen or have current Green Card Status
Success Factors
Perform in process inspections as required per work instructions
Work with quality assurance, engineering, and production to determine inspection requirements
Communicate inspection results to appropriate personnel
Document non-conformances upon discovery in the EPR system.
