Set up and troubleshoot inspection and test equipment. Prepare and interpret inspection and test reports.
Set up and troubleshoot inspection and test equipment. Perform inspections of products to determine conformance with specifications. Utilize standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs. Prepare and interpret associated inspection and test reports and documentation. Prepare supporting documentation for specialized testing.
Work with some supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
Job Requirements : Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED required. Must have a minimum of 2 years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical and electrical instruments, functional gauges and test rigs.
Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and inspection instructions.
Knowledge of manual product marking systems such as Vibropeen and Electroetch and automatic systems a plus.
Good basic mathematical aptitude required.
Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Light physical effort required. Continuous mental and visual attention required. Job may be performed while sitting or standing. Eyesight correctable to 20/20 required. Will be required to take and pass a color blindness test. Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
