AutoReqId 36957BR Function Quality Division Conveyance Systems Division External Job Title Quality Inspector Job Description This position is responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies prior to shipment to customer, including receiving inspection, in-process final inspection and filling out all paperwork associated with the orders. The qualified candidate will organize, check, and file supplier certifications using processes like MRP (MFGPro), Wisper, and will follow detailed instructions to verify count, part number, and assembly against provided documentation. Essential duties include: - Inspect parts and assemblies as defined by drawing/customer-defined structure; - Transfer and inspect components through all phases of kit assembly process; - Prepare necessary quality documentation for part/kit shipment; - Maintain quality documents and files; - Interaction with both internal and external quality personnel; - Knowledge of customer specifications requirements; - Knowledge of QAP's; - Knowledge of ACES; - Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements - Associates degree preferred; - Must be US citizen or hold a green card due to ITARS-related products; - One to three (1-3) years of prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience preferred); - Ability to read and understand drawing specifications; - Ability to use inspection gauges Region North America - US/Puerto Rico Country United States US Locations Ann Arbor, MI State Michigan Employee category Regular Experience Level 1-3 years Travel Required Up to 25 percent Relocation benefit provided?
