Job Title Quality Info Engineer - (CHINO, CA) Company HATCI Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Location CHINO, CA Career Level Entry Salary Grade $0 - $0 Date Needed By N/A Job Type Full Time Travel Required 10-20% Job Description This position will help improve quality of Hyundai/Kia vehicles by systematically conducting investigations and root cause analyses of reported problems. Analyze warranty claims, Initial Quality Surveys, VDS , New Model Durability & Reliability Engineering and provide Engineering recommendations for and evaluate Countermeasures and Field Fixes. Document problems and recommendations in Technical Reports for Korea R&D and Quality teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
* Establish plans to support Durability/Reliability testing for new and existing models to provide continuous Engineering analysis, identify problems, conduct root cause analysis, and to provide countermeasures or resolution. * Identify major quality problems, breakdown to systematic areas and provide Engineering analysis and research results to provide "lessons learned" on current and future models. * Benchmark competitive vehicles to research differences and improve Hyundai/Kia vehicle systems. * Create & present daily reports to Management and engineering staff of all Hyundai Kia models top quality issues * Create and present technical reports as assigned. * Perform administrative functions such as purchasing requests, timecard, vacation requests, travel requests, etc. * Perform additional projects as assigned. * Travel up to 20% of time domestically and internationally.

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering requested * Valid driver's license * 2 years in Automotive Quality or Interior/Exterior Engineering or Vehicle Testing and Evaluation or Quality Assurance or Quality Control * Experience working in culturally diverse team environment
