Support the development of a quality culture through educating the organization to the need for continuous improvement & assuring customers of Eaton's commitment to quality Develop process control plans & review data collection methods & applicability of data to operator control; assist in the development & implementation of Dimensional Control Plan (DCP) Assist with the implementation of quality systems (EBE, TS-16949) Assist in the development of PFMEA's and PPAP's Participate in & lead structured team problem solving & apply statistical & other problem solving tools Direct & conduct process potential studies & sample layout of new or revised processes Interact with & assist customers on quality related issues, report root cause & corrective actions back to customer; conduct customer visits as needed Assist in the preparation of customer required reporting Actively participate in manufacturing & process improvement teams as the voice of the customer Participate as a member of APQP teams to bring product to market Assist in the development & presentation of cost of quality measurements Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Quality, Statistics preferred)
* Minimum 3 years experience applying quality tools in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred
* Certificate Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred
* Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbeltwould be a plus
* Strong communication skills
* Solid knowledge of engineering techniques & manufacturing processes
* Thorough knowledge of statistics & statistical process control, including gauge repeatability & reproducibility studies
* Knowledge of metrology, including CMM application & programming preferred
