Then read on. Diesel Systems Job Description : Responsible to the Department Director for improving processes and results within manufacturing processes and customer relationships. Assist Charleston Plant team in meeting business objectives/targets as outlined in Policy Deployment NCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:•Provide internal technical support in resolving product production capability problems and defects.•Assist customer technical support representatives in resolving functional problems with the product issues.•Work as the QMM member of the CRIN Value Stream organization to improve the overall performance of the product and departments involved.•Direct QMM1 team on projects to improve cost and quality of production processes.•Develop and support use of sound system/process improvement tools (APQP, SPC, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, CIP, etc.) used by the Charleston Plant Team.•Develop customer relationships and participate as a member of the world-wide QMC customer team.•Lead and Develop quality engineering resources to exceed defined competency standards.•Successfully work and interact within cross-functional teams in International Quality Network to achieve business objectives. Job Requirements : •Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or closely related Technical degree.•5+ years experience in high-volume manufacturing environment.•Good written and oral communication skills.•Ability to learn and use new product knowledge and operating procedures.•A high level of team work and self- initiative.•Self management abilities:•Goal and result oriented.•Ability to develop and follow structured approaches for more complex tasks.•Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks ER SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:•Experience with measuring methods and equipment related to above manufacturing processes. •Working knowledge of automotive quality tools (APQP, PFMEA, 8Ds, PPAP, ISO/TS16949). •Effective problem solving skills and knowledge of statistical methods.
