Then read on. Diesel Systems Job Description : Quality Engineer responsible for HDP5 Project Safe Launch activities. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:•Manage ChP Safe Launch Process.•Lead internal project team to successful customer launches. •Manage customer SQE requirements.•Manage Quality and Launch Readiness Reporting (VSR, GB, Internal).•Manage planning/performing product audits. •Manage internal escalation of items critical to a perfect launch at customer, 0-mileage, returned part analysis, 8D reporting to customer, and support of production line quality issues. Job Requirements : •Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Technical degree.•Good written and oral communication skills.•Ability to learn and use new product knowledge and operating procedures.•A high level of team work and self- initiative.•Self management abilities:•Goal and result oriented.•Ability to develop and follow structured approaches for more complex tasks.•Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. OTHER SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:•Experience with measuring methods and equipment related to above manufacturing processes. •Working knowledge of automotive quality tools (APQP, PFMEA, 8Ds, PPAP, ISO/TS16949). •Effective problem solving skills and knowledge of statistical methods.
