Quality Engineer Black Belt Specialist
The Quality Engineer Black Belt Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering intermediate and advanced problem solving tools at the World Class Manufacturing Academy. Designing and deploying the appropriate measurement system to track the project improvements made after training has been completed. Reviewing, revising and continuing to support current training programs across the company.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Quality experience
• Ability to use data to identify, analyze and solve complex problems
• Good knowledge of quality and problem solving tolls such as SPC, PFMEA, DOE, EMP, dimensional control, process control, etc.
• Proven problem solver with a working knowledge of education and training methods, and a strong desire to deliver new concepts across a variety of venues
• Strong analytical skills and the willingness to gain additional knowledge on World Class Manufacturing topics
• Microsoft Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications: • Engineering experience a plus
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work with all levels of Management and Union leadership
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Strong presentation skills
• Must be energetic, motivated and self-directed
• Knowledge of SPC and DOE software packages preferred
• Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
