The Quality Assurance & Test Information Technology Specialist will be part of a team responsible for the continued growth of WDPR Test Center of Excellence. Your proven technical expertise will bring additional strengths our team as will your high level of proficiency in designing and implementing testing solutions to maximize Quality Assurance and Testing efficiency and to improve the quality of our 200+ Tier 1 applications. You will have the opportunity to define test efforts for complex projects, driving core tasks with business and IT partners, and handling multiple “in flight” projects. You will need to have technical experience and the ability to work with HP Quality Center & QuickTest Pro as well experience determining risks and validations for SQL, VBS, C++, WSDL, .Net, JAVA, Linux, and Windows.
• 5-10 years of experience with SDLC processes and at least 1 to 2 years of experience with Agile processes • 3-5 years of expertise in Software Quality Assurance including strong hands-on experience in QA strategies, architecture and methodologies • 3- 5 years of hands-on experience with multi-tier architectures applications that include Windows, Web services and database layers • 2-3 years experience with testing of SOA application platforms • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak decisively and informatively in a group setting; written communications must be clear and concise • Expertise in the understanding of how code management, code coverage tools, code quality and defect tracking tools are used • 3-5 years experience in any of the following industry quality assurance standards: Project Management, ITIL, or related standards. • Expertise with HP Quality Testing Tools Suite, especially Quality Center and some experience with automation tools (preferably QTP) and data driven automation frameworks • Familiar with producing and analyzing quality metrics and implementing quality improvement methodologies. • Experience writing code using any of the following languages: VBS, C, C#, C++, Java code, or any scripting language for use in quality assurance and automation strategies.
• PMP and ITIL certification • Experience in CMMI, Six Sigma • Ability to be flexible with work schedule • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information • Familiarity with hospitality industry Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or other computer related field
