OBJECTIVE: Inspect incoming parts/material, verify that certification is correct, check parts for processing, and check special orders.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Create new part numbers in the system * Responds to inspectors doubts and concerns * Performs assigned routine test on materials or finished goods where results are compared with company quality standards * Reports results to supervisor who will make an analysis and take necessary action * Inspects visually for obvious defects * In charge of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, indicators, etc. * Performs other related duties and assignments as directed by supervisor * Provides leadership to the Inspection team * Deal with nonconforming product Job Requirements :
* Minimum of 2 Years of experience in QA inspection * Thorough knowledge of English language usage, spelling and communication * Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills * Required to pass documented color and near vision exam * Proficient in math and good communication skills * Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel) * High school education or GED equivalent.
