Major Job Duties Include:
*Interface with business units in division and with material group oriented purchasing organization for strategic and operational topics
*Responsible for achievement of project goals (costs, quality, deadlines, budget)
*Guides the specialist departments as part of project management
*Represents and assists purchasing in product creation process from kick-off
*Participates in SE (simultaneous engineering) team, coordinates SE work at the supplier
*Expert for preventive quality planning
*Initiation and implementation of concept competitions
*Holding of and participation in technical supplier discussions
*Supervision of series production until EOP (end of production)
*Feedback of series experience / lessons learned into SE process
*Change management: coordination on the purchasing side.
Minimum Job Requirements Include: *Bachelor's degree engineering *2+ years of professional work experience *Experience with Quality Management systems *Experience in Automotive Industry
Preferred: *Master's degree *GS experience *German/Spanish language skills
