Title: Project Supply Quality Manager (m/f) Location: DEU-Stuttgart Responsible for the product quality and the delivery of all goods expected from individual project teams in due time and on the basis of the specified budget Interfacing with all suppliers as regards all aspects of quality assurance & control as well as the production/delivery schedule Conducting the kick-off meeting with suppliers after interventions, such as quality assurance & control, deadline monitoring, final inspection, inspection of outgoing goods etc. on the basis of the current planning of the activities involved Examination of the progress reports submitted by the suppliers and assessment of their quality management system; monthly status reports to the project team Interfacing with suppliers on all aspects of the quality assurance & control and the production/delivery schedule; close coordination with the engineering and project management teams; interfacing with the test coordinator, in order to organize a support team for the construction supervision and to manage such a team General responsibility for the professional and cost-efficient management of all project-related measures aimed at supervising the suppliers for certain projects that have been allotted to themCreating and maintaining a pleasant team atmosphere as a basis for successful and motivated team work Graduation in mechanical engineering or a comparable academic degree in an engineering discipline Competence training in AWS, CSWIP, NACE, ASNT, PCN, IEE or comparable courses and a good understanding of quality management systems; a training certificate as Quality Auditor would be an additional advantage Good understanding of the technical requirements contained in various standards, such as DIN, ANSI, ASME, AWS, BS & EN; knowledge of the welding requirements, of the pressure vessel directive, of the local legislation and of the statutory regulations is an additional advantage At least four years of work experience in general and at least two years of experience in the design, production, testing, inspection and deadline monitoring of machines and plants used in thermal power plants. Good comprehension in the fields of planning, deadline monitoring, material management and logistics High awareness of the environmental, industrial health and work safety standards Good social skills and management qualities Good command of English in writing and speakingPrevious employment in a multi-national and multi-cultural ambience
