Minimum five years of experience as a Project Engineer on Industrial projects including experience working for an A&E company in a design role.
Must complete URS Project Manager training within 6 months of hire. Job Description: Work requires application of intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Makes decisions independently on project related problems and methods and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. Position may be supervisory or non-supervisory.
Responsibilities include:
Plans, develops, or coordinates an engineering project.
Works effectively with the client and develops longstanding relationships.
Prepares proposals including development of engineering scope of work, budget and schedule.
Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of a staff of Engineers, Designers, and Technicians as well as subordinate Supervisors or Project Leads.
Estimates personnel needs and schedules and assigns work to meet completion date.
Reviews progress and evaluates work.
Coordinates design issues with team and facilitates resolution of interdisciplinary issues.
Responds to client requests in a timely and appropriate manner.
