Project Engineer - Civil
DRC Engineering, Inc., provides engineering services for commercial, industrial, retail, and residential developers. DRC specializes in site civil design and subdivision engineering for projects that include large regional retail centers, business parks, industrial parks, residential in-fills, new subdivisions, institutional projects, public works projects, and site rehabilitation projects.
DRC’s role and responsibility to its clients is to be a valuable and dependable partner during the planning, development, and construction phases of a project. Services typically include preparing preliminary studies, identifying risk factors upfront, preparing grading plans, site plan, erosion control plans, water quality reports and design, hydrology studies, and other civil related elements.

A Project Engineer at DRC is an integral member of a team, responsible for the start to finish production of completed projects. Experience will include all aspects of a project development, including layout of site plans, conceptualization of grading and utility design, finalization of engineering calculations, as well as coordination with agencies and clients.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position will have 3-6 years post collegiate experience within the civil engineering and land development fields. Registration, or in the process of obtaining registration, in the State of California is required.
Previous experience in preparing grading plans, hydraulic calculations, technical reports, utility plans, and Stormwater quality reports is preferable.
Candidate shall posses strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of presenting and supporting designs to staff and clients alike. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
