Job Description:
The Programmer must be experienced with Java/J2EE 1.4 (or higher) and possess SQL skills. Experience with RAD/Eclipse, DB2, MQSeries, Websphere and Jasper Reports is a plus. Must be able to execute assigned tasks on project plans to support design, code and test cycles in a project.
Good analytical ability and oral/written communication skills are required. Must be able to work well with others taking direction from senior staff. Must be able to follow a project plan executing assigned tasks.
The Programmer will be required to write programs of low to moderate complexity matching detailed specifications, develop, execute and analyze unit test plan for low to moderate complexity assignments, assist in supporting application systems - problem log research, root cause analysis, recommending steps for resolution, and implementing solutions.
Education:
The desired Programmer will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience. 1-3+ years experience.
