Title: Programmer Analyst 3 Location: Texas-Fort Hood Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Software Developer to perform software configuration management/documentation support. Join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the s position will be located in Temple, Texas. The qualified applicant will join Northrop Grumman Information Systems in designing and developing software solutions to meet the evolving needs of the DoD. This project focuses on Army maintenance and the collection and efficient distribution of data to support 'condition based maintenance' and 'performance based logistics' concepts. The successful candidate will join a team to participate in the continued development of a successful Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) having over 40,000 users worldwide. Responsibilities include: 1. Perform configuration management of .NET software configuration 2. Build and deploy software to development, test, and production servers 3. Document SW versions 4. Perform analysis of software, identify performance metrics, conduct software reliability analysis 5. Support formal and informal software testing and quality assurance 6. Support, maintain and document software functionality This position is contingent upon contract award.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
· The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in computer science or in a related field of study and 5 years experience in software development. Years of experience may be traded for degree requirement. · At a minimum the candidate must demonstrate experience programming in MS Visual Studio 2008 within Microsoft's .NET Framework 3.5 using C# and C . · Within this environment, the candidate must have experience using SQL to exchange data with an Oracle 11G database. · US Citizenship and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications: Additional Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
· Experience working within defined software quality paradigms: CMMI, ISO 9001, AS9100. · Experience developing SW using agile development principles. * Fluency in other high level languages. * Web Services: SOAP/REST and XML. * Rapid Prototyping, * GUI design and development, and * ERP integration
