Job Function This is a PMIC HW Program Management position requiring knowledge in the areas of PMIC Design, IC Development, NPI Program Management, Product Test Development, IC fabrication, IC packaging, IC reliability, and Wireless and Cellphone technologies. RF/Analog IC design is a plus.

Ability to interpret QCT products/services requirements and is responsible to coordinate delivery of such products/services to the customer (internal or external) according to agreed to specifications, budget, and schedule.

Interfaces with internal company departments, (contracts, legal, engineering, operations, technical publications, product support, etc.) to be aware of each departments work priorities, available resources etc. The program manager utilizes this information to ceate and develop program master schedules, work plans, budgets, and resource requirements.

The program manager organizes and leads interdepartmental meetings (i.e. leads meetings with contracts, legal, engineering, manufacturing, technical publications and/or product support), to set project milestones, define project tasks, establish program policies and processes and allocate resources. Delegates project assignments to internal departments where required. Develops control systems and methods to accurately monitor and measure program progress, identify potential problems for each internal department, identify risks, and to then develop and maintain risk matrice with mitigation and contingency strategies. Implements control systems methods to monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules. Troubleshoots program issues and helps to develop alternative program tasks, schedules, milestones, processes etc. to resolve program issues. Communicates project status, issues, and recommended mitigation plans to cross-functional core and executive teams.

May assist in the development and review of product technical documentation and/or end user manuals. May interface with customers or suppliers directly on a regular basis throughout the life cycle of program.

This position will report to another senior member of the RF/A program management staff.

Skills/Experience Minimum of ten to fifteen years in the technical industry (preferably PMIC design, semiconductor manufacturing, and telecommunications). Must be able to multi-task with and understand/facilitate/guide a variety of disciplines such as IC design, CAD, fabrication, test, product support, reliability, process control, inventory control, build scheduling, applications, marketing, and business/contracts. The Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multi-faceted, multi-disciplined teams and programs independently with minimal supervision. Must be willing to travel worldwide as required. Experience in high volume manufacturing preferred. Strong business acumen required.

This is not an IT project management position.
Responsibilities Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to mentor and motivate project teams (leadership). Must be able to articulate vision and influence decision making and outcomes both internally and with external suppliers. May have direct reports (other Program Managers or Program Administrators). Computer proficient and literate (fluent in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Working knowledge of semiconductor design, physics, test, and fabrication a strong plus. Working knowledge of telecommunication standards also a plus.

Candidates should have previous high volume, component-level, program management experience (in both the technical and business domains)

Education Requirements Technical degree required in an electronics-related discipline (Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred). PMP a plus.
