Duties: Perform application monitoring, response, problem management and resolution, change management, implementation, scheduling and tuning of software applications and infrastructure components; deploy Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) applications to Weblogic servers; perform software applications support utilizing Informatica, Oracle, Unix, Structured Query Language (SQL) and PL/SQL; create extract, transform and load (ETL) codes to resolve application issues and enhance performance; coordinate application recovery operations and maintain disaster recovery documents; develop Unix shell scripts to alert production support of unusually activities while accessing data from various source systems; oversee deployment of application upgrades in preproduction and test environments; monitor application availability via a standard tool set and take proactive actions as issues arise; manage application availability issues to coordinate integrated problem resolutions; work directly with clients to define and resolve application issues.
Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Electronic Engineering, followed by five years of progressive experience in performing software applications support utilizing Informatica, Oracle, Unix, Structured Query Language (SQL) and PL/SQL.
