The company has immediate openings for hands-on, experienced Technical Co-ops to becomea member of the growing, dynamic Production team inUniontown, PA. These positions will require20 hours per week, Monday through Friday anytime between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm. We are understanding of school schedules and we are willing to work with students on when they are available between classes. Job Location: Uniontown, PA Title:Technical I/II Co-op - Production ManufacturingPosition Summary:The Production Manufacturing Technical Co-op will assist all areas of the Production department. Duties and Responsibilities: The technical intern will assist in the manufacture of components, assemblies, and systems as required. Assist technicians/engineers performing assigned tasks in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. Will help with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, parts lists, manufacturing orders, and connection diagrams. Operate equipment including (but not limited to); air tools, power tools, mechanical tools, test equipment and measurement and calibration devices. Assist in the maintenance of equipment and material. Recognize and address environmental concerns of work areas (Possible safety hazards, correct placement of tools, etc.) Any other tasks required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction. Secondary Accountabilities: Specifically the Production Manufacturing intern role will be to perform basic cable and wire harness assembly. Assemble and configure rack mounted electronic equipment. Perform basic manufacturing operations including (but not limited to); machining, wiring, and electro-mechanical assembly. Basic Qualifications: To be eligible for this position U.S. citizenship is required. Technical I Co-op - Must be currently pursuing or have earned a high school diploma. Technical II Co-op - Must be currently pursuing a college degree program. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required. Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
