Production Assembly Planner Specialist (N85)
Title: Production Assembly Planner Specialist (N85) Location: Florida-Crestview Supporting UH-1Y, CH-47 and other aircraft platforms, the Production Assembly Planner Specialist plans sequence of installation, assembly, fabrication, and other production operations to ensure efficiency and on time delivery of aircraft.
The Production Planner plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other documentation. Reviews, edits, updates and processes engineering change orders. Review drawings for errors prior to processing. Ensure manufacturing and/or production departments receive current and correct specifications for parts to be created. Create and maintain routers and work orders. Organize, archive and maintain all documents. May interact with other internal departments and external customers. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: * With Technical Associates degree must have a minimum of 8 years experience in Production Planning Operations. * With H/S diploma or GED must have a minimum of 10 years experience in Production Planning Operations. * Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
Physical Requirements: Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
