Product Manager/Business Analyst
Overview:
Under general direction, independently works with customers to establish business need and goals and elicits requirements for development of systems solutions for moderately to highly complex projects. Produces functional specifications and obtains customer approval. Acts as liaison between the customer and the development team to determine and deliver the most effective solution. Contributes to the design of systems and planning for systems testing and support. Possesses strong retail or data processing systems background or both. May serve in the MST Solutions Framework roles of Product Manager, Project Manager, Testing Advocate, or User Advocate.

Key Accountabilities:
3-5 years experience in Retail or Information Technology required.
Strong ability to elicit, translate and document business requirements into technical requirements while managing business partner expectations.
Strong negotiation/facilitation skills. Able to develop partnerships at all levels and instill confidence in business partners and vendors.
Strong analysis and problem solving skills with focus on attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.
Ability to communicate product functionality to business partners.
Must be a self-starter who can display time management skills and multi-task on various development and support activities.
Experience working in an environment with a formal development methodology.
Experience supporting a complex system and serve as the business subject matter expert.
Must demonstrate ability to collaborate with other team members and fosters team atmosphere.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Pluses (not required):
Knowledge of SQL/DB2
Ability to create transfer of knowledge documents
