Activities will include solid modeling from concept through to full detailed drawings for release to production. Responsibility will include both components design and overall product design. Design and detail precision machined components, gray iron castings and complex assemblies utilizing Unigraphics NX 7 (any UG CAD solid experience is acceptable) software. Develop engineering documentation (component drawings, assembly drawings, instructions, technical specifications and engineering change orders). Create and maintain bills of material. Support design needs of manufacturing and assembly. Apply tools such as Root Cause Analysis and Mistake Proofing to solve issues and improve product design. Will participate in cross-function teams.

Salary: $52,000 to $65,000.
REQUIREMENTS:
BS with 2-4 years experience in design of precision machined parts for products using solid modeling Unigraphics software

Associate Degree with 6+ years experience in design of precision machined parts for products using solid modeling Unigraphics software.
Design of products involving castings, machined parts, bearings, gears, etc.
Must be US citizen, no visa sponsorship.
Not more than 2 jobs in last 4 years and not more than 2 contract assignments in last 5 years.
