Product Data Mgmt Specialist 2
This position is for a PDM Specialist - Engineering Release supporting the International Space Station (ISS) program. The candidate will perform Engineering Release support, specifically performing drawing quality and engineering drawing release. Primary tasks include: with general supervision, interpret and enter complex product definition data into Teamcenter Unified Product Data Management (PDM) System; perform a non-technical check of complex engineering data to verify that engineering product definition data (e.g., bill of material, geometry, digital models) meets procedural and system requirements; reconcile discrepancies by coordinating with affected organizations (e.g., engineering, planning, configuration management); with general supervision, develop, maintain and/or review internal/cross functional processes, procedures and tools to support program and industry standards and ISO requirements; communicate/train requirements to coworkers/customers regarding procedures, processes, and tools that support the preparation, release, and interpretation of product definition data. This position reports to the Data Management Integration and Compliance manager on ISS.

Typical Education/Experience
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
