Experience SCS Culture: /> Job Duties: * Support Engineers: * Documentation review and Updates. * Entering data into spreadsheets/databases, * Measuring and recording dimensional data. * Assist the Quality Engineers in the monitoring and reporting of process capability and performance testing of product. * Assist in the preparation of inspection plans and procedures, ensuring compliance to all customer requirements. * Assist with preparation for the Material Review Board for assigned area. * Support Production: * Attend AWG meetings and perform associated duties. * Support IPT teams. * Cross train in the electronic NCM System. (Backup to the Quality Data Evaluator) * Write (or rewrite/reformat) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Practices (SPs), Process Quality Procedures (PQPs), Acceptance Quality Procedures (AQPs), Work Center Procedures (WCPs) etc. * Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance to documented procedures. * Assist in Quality Assurance areas to resolve operator training issues, process flow challenges, resolution of quality issues, etc. * Gather data to support the CPOA efforts. * Assist engineering in the design, manufacture, implementation, and use of gages and test equipment. * Gather and analyze data using SPC or other statistics. * Interface across organization boundaries to include shop floor operators, maintenance, manufacturing engineering. Required: * Strong Oral & Written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to perform in a team setting. * Day to day problem solving that is not routine in nature. * Technical writing skills. * Demonstrated ability to learn additional software packages (such as MiniTab, Visio, etc.). * Fully proficient in computer and tool skills such as MS Word and Excel. * Strong math skills Preferred: * Two years of post high school education in a related field. * Experience in manufacturing environment. * Knowledge and experience in inspection and test techniques. * Prior experience in the interpretation and understanding of military specifications. * Knowledge of ISO 9000 requirements. * Experience in Statistical Process Control. * Familiarity with ammunition, explosives and pyrotechnics and their functions.
