Process Safety Engineers
We are currently recruiting for 2 Process Safety Engineers. The Process Safety Engineer provides Process Safety support for the for our Redwater Nitrogen Operations (RNO) and for our Redwater Phosphate Operations (RPO). The incumbent will work directly with the RPO Process Engineering Supervisor or the RNO Process Safety Supervisor in developing, implementing and maintaining the Process Safety program for the unit.
 Specific responsibilities will include:
* Support maintenance of RPO Process Safety Information (PSI)
* Support the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) system and facilitate MOC or Project PHA's as required
* Maintains site PHA schedule and responsible for scheduling PHA activities ensuring schedule is met
* Ensures compliance to PHA Issue Resolution Schedule
* Working with the Contact Engineers, maintain and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Conditions and Limits (SOCL)
* Ensure the Management of Change (MOC) procedure, including completion of Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR), is followed
* Drive RPO compliance to Agrium’s Process Safety Roadmap
* Act  as one of the Site resources for process safety education and knowledge development
* Roll-out and train site personnel on new developments and changes to process safety program
* Ensure Process Safety Events (PSE) are properly captured, investigated and reported correctly with Agrium Wholesale Technical Services (WTS)
* Participate and lead process safety incident investigations and assist with follow up action items
* Analyzes PSE trends and metrics to identify problems and opportunities in the operating units with the goal of improved process safety performance
* Drive completion of PSM Compliance Assurance Audits and associated findings.
* Administer the MOC process including reporting and identifying areas for improvement
Qualifications of the Position Include:
* Chemical engineering degree or other engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills.
* Experience working with Dyadem PHAPro is recommended
* Experience working with MS Office and SAP is recommended.
