Principal-Product Development Engineer
Description
This position will provide support for the architecture, design, configuration and ongoing maintenance of lab and network infrastructure required for forward looking work and projects in the AT&T Foundry. This includes defining Lab system and network requirements, managing upgrades and expansions and trouble resolution. The position will provide support for integrating systems and CPE from various vendors to help build proof-of-concept prototypes for converged applications across technologies such as IPTV, Cloud Services, LTE and IMS. The position will also provide technical support of the demo environment for both local and remote demonstrations of new applications and technology. The primary interfaces for this role are internal and external development organizations, Foundry vendor sponsors and other suppliers, and internal and external network providers. The candidate must have technical depth and breadth across a range of network technologies and be able to work collaboratively across internal and external partners and innovators.
Qualifications
-Candidate must have hands-on technical experience designing and supporting lab networks and infrastructure.
- Candidate must have a technical bachelor’s degree (e.g., engineering, computer science) from an accredited university.
