Qualified candidates are being sought for an entry level
Platform Laborer
position on rotating shifts in our packaging and loading area at the Paris, IL Cargill Corn Milling Facility
Candidates MUST possess the following capabilities and experience, with or without reasonable accommodation:
1. High school Diploma of GED and one year related manufacturing or production experience or equivalent
2. Able to work overtime and rotating shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
3. Able to lift up to 100 lbs
4. Able to work at heights up to 15 feet
5. Able to follow instructions and procedures and communicate important information and safety concerns in an industrial environment
In addition, candidates should be self-motivated, team, quality and safety oriented.
Employees work in an industrial plant environment with exposure to outdoor temperature extremes, dust and noise and expected to walk, sweep, shovel and climb regularly.
Successful candidates will re required to take a pre-employment test, pass a company paid post-offer medical exam, drug and alcohol screen and a background screen.
