Pilot Test 3 - AVO

Responsible for computer control of a Hunter Unmanned Aircraft from a ground control station as an AVO. Knowledgeable of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, Knowledge of flight procedures, navigation, data link theory, aviation terminology, radio discipline, and advanced airmanship. Capable of developing and evaluating flight test cards and procedures, also Performs flight tests as required. Will provide direct liaison with U.S. Army personnel. Provides guidance and training to Customer, US Army soldier personnel. This position requires travel to locations overseas for a period of up to 1 year, as required. Will be required to obtain an AMEX corporate credit card, a FAA Class II Medical Certificate and Secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: BS/BA degree or equivalent or six years of directly related Preferred experience: Hunter U.S. Air Vehicle Operator experience Required. AVO Instructor and Maintenance Test Pilot qualified prefferred. Must be able to medically pass CRC prior to deployment (Medical requirements available upon request.)

Tests aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability. Operates models of test aircraft during engineering flight tests, production acceptance, and flight test support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers. Coordinates flight operations efforts. Approves cockpit configuration. May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel aboard to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities and system capabilities.

This position requires successful completion of customer's training.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors in Science and five years of applied experience.
