The primary responsibilities will be: Leading the Project Management and Integration effort and providing Technical leadership for highly customized Interior customer configurations. A significant portion of the assignment will include communication with Interiors Management and Program Leadership and will require the following attributes: Good communication skills with ability to breakdown complex situations into explicit actions requiring management and program attention. Ability to present data and proposals in format that is clear and includes executable actions for leadership concurrence and support. Display consistent professional behavior and respect for organizational protocol. Provide constructive input and avoid disruptive side effects of personal agendas. Have ability to understand multiple view points and arrive at understanding of tasks required to move forward with timely execution. An understanding of the impact of change to the configuration and schedule.
This is a very dynamic position requires the ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical issues. The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks using project management and time management skills. Candidate must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to lead teams and meetings. Candidate must be capable of leading and facilitating teams of individuals from multiple organizations. Working knowledge of 787 Customer Introduction tools/process, Interiors Commodities and Features, Certification Requirements, ETAC, Open Plan, ENOVIA, PDM and other engineering process tools are required.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 5 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
