Paint System Energy Specialist
This PaintSystem Energy Specialist position will assist Chrysler manufacturing facilities in optimizing energy used by processes, machines and equipment to minimize energy loss during production and non- production periods. This position will also assist the Manufacturing Engineering organization in developing energy efficient standards and specifications, so that new facilities, processes, machines, and equipment will use less energy than those they replace.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required • At least five years of experience and knowledge about automotive assembly plants • Must have strong working engineering knowledge about automotive paint shops and associated processes such as color spray booths, air handling paint ovens, abatement systems and sludge systems • Must be able to apply energy conservation and efficiency principles to paint shop and assembly plant processes , equipment and facilities • Must be able to perform heating and ventilation calculations • Must be familiar with WCM principles
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree preferred • Full knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes preferred
