Oracle DBA Manager
The mission of the Oracle DBA Manager is to organize and plan the operations of the Oracle Application DBAs and Sys Admin. The jobholder manage the divisional Oracle Sys Admin team, plan, specify and agree the Oracle Application services and projects with the PMs and application owners. He is the privileged business interface between the Application DBA and Sys Admin team and the other teams for the implementation and roll out of ERP applications and Oracle databases. He participates to the global convergence effort of the DBA architecture and operation procedures, being part of the global DBA leadership team, advocate and implement them in his division.

Key Activities & Accountabilities
Hereafter are underlined the main activities of the Application DBA Manager: • Manage, develop, motivate and train the divisional Oracle Sys Admin team • Coordinate the DBA activity delivery with the ""DBA manager operation and delivery"" • Be responsible of the Oracle EBS applications and other DB production services definition and incident management with the business owners • Centralize and analyze the business requests for new services, challenge and educate the business owners and suppliers to comply with the Stryker defined frameworks • Define and maintain the non technical procedures as change management, support escalation, incident review • Participate actively in the implementation of Oracle EBS as a project DBA lead • Actively support the other GES teams in the deployment and Production Support • Participate to the budget elaboration and expenditure tracking / projection for his division, keep track of licensing usage and needs • Participate to the elaboration and maintenance of global converging Oracle solutions architecture and standard procedures within the Global DBA team • Actively advocate and implement the standard common architecture, best practices and procedures in his division • Supervise DBA change management, responsible of the business approval and to define and communicate maintenance windows
Qualifications/Work Experience
•At least 10 years of professional experience in IT department •At least 4 years of experience in management •At least 2 years experience with service definition and project management / coordination •At least 2 years exposure with Oracle eBusiness Suite and Oracle DB products in a technical of functional role •Experience of ERP in the medical business, with exposure with FDA / SOX requirements •Experience in Production mode administration is a must •Experience of a EBS implementation is a plus

Education and/or Special Training
•MSc/BSc degree in IT or Business •Languages: English mandatory, others are a plus
