Operations Engineer
Operations Engineer Location: VA, Roanoke Req Number: NV 10-059 Position Description: >In this challenging technical role, you will work with engineering, manufacturing and production personnel to maintain and improve the heartbeat of the processes with a focus on yield and throughput increases and elimination of inline testing failures for the manufacture of high technology night vision goggles and related optical equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
>Provide investigation, analysis and solutions to technical problems encountered by engineering services, quality control and manufacturing departments using the application of engineering standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
>Interpret 'customer' perspective and provide required documentation
>Support product transfer from development to production Experience Requirements: >A B.S. Engineering Degree in electrical, mechanical or other similar field is required
Desired Experience and Credentials include:
>A strong fundamental knowledge of theoretical engineering principles
>Excellent written and oral communication skills
>Enthusiastic team player with desire to work in collaborative environments
>Background in electrical/optical/mechanical manufacturing environment - Background in failure analysis and corrective action implementation
>Experience in analysis of electromagnetic devices is essential
>Working knowledge of Microsoft products
