NVH Mechanic
The NVH Mechanic is responsible for tearing down and rebuilding the engine/transmission and removing and installing the axle, drive train and chassis components. Remove and install the complete vehicle interior (IP, carpets, seats, hard trim, headliner, etc.). Diagnose vehicle systems utilizing Star Scan, CAN Bus, ODB and other diagnostic tools (computer interface with vehicle systems). Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and repair vehicle components and systems.
Basic Qualifications: • Minimum of an A.A.S. degree in Auto Mechanics or similar discipline
• Minimum of state certification in the areas of chassis, body, brakes and welding
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanic
• Fabrication and machining capabilities
• Must have a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications: • Two or four year college degree preferred
• ASE certification preferred
