Numerical Control Programmer 2\3

Numerical Control (NC) Programmers are required to support the manufacturing of the 787 Aft body in North Charleston, SC. The successful candidate will participate in numerous tasks related to numerical controlled manufacturing, including research and data collection to support cross functional teams. They will help to establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility. They will create, revise and verify Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work. They will assist with the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment. They must possess the ability to generate NC programming using multiple programming languages. Preferred Candidate will have experience working in the CATIA V5 NC
workbench and within ENOVIA. Works under general direction.

Prefer a working knowledge of Fibersim, Trunest, familiar with Composite manufacturing tools & processes in CATIA V5, V5 Composites Work Bench, V5 Fibersim, Nesting systems, 2D ply cutters, Laser projection & Automated Fiber placement, Brotje Automation- Offline Programming System automated drill and fill, Advanced Fiber Placement (AFP), Gerber, AGFM, Numerical Control Quality Assurance (NCQA) and Laminator. All employees will be on the Boeing Charleston benefit structure. All Boeing Commercial Airplane Charleston positions require an online pre-employment assessment test. Candidates selected for the test will be notified via e-mail.
