MRO/Operations Manager 2 (MK)
MANAGER, OPERATIONS
Manage a segment of a program or a function. Responsible for the direct supervision of supervisors and or non exempt workforce. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction, work assignment to subordinates utilizing mgmt guidelines & general policies. Manager's responsibilities include: strategic planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a work package, subsystem, or related group of work packages in a MRO environment. Provide coaching, career development, set goals and provide overall guidance to a team of supervisors and or employees. Overseas a team and task assigned to the organizational group performed by non-exempt employees. Must be able to resolve technical or operational problems in a MRO environment.
Must have extensive knowledge in at least one but preferred all in repair, installing trouble shooting of: Aircraft systems, flight controls, Avionics, or Structures. Will be required to perform tasks such as avionics, fuel system fueling and defueling, engine operations, APU operations and flight control systems.
Basic Qualifications: AA degree and 4 years related experience or 6 Years of related experience, previous leadership/supervisor experience
