Must be able to derive simulation requirements based on system component design options and review simulation designs, inputs and outputs to see if they can meet these requirements. Applicant must be able to support trade studies by providing inputs on simulation capabilities. Position responsibilities will include: Use of information from other organizations and planning documents to define simulation requirements. Document the requirements clearly. Compare existing simulations to those requirements. Identify shortfalls and options to resolve those shortfalls. Define changes to existing simulation in detail. Define the test needs for evaluating the results of modifying the simulation. Evaluate the simulation for the intended use.
Applicant will have responsibility for: defining and documenting M&S requirements, coordinating the requirements internally and externally, planning and estimating the schedule for simulation modifications.
SecretJob Requirements: Requirements system engineering is a must. Prefer previous missile defense experience. Modeling and Simulation requirements development needed. Code, test and evaluation required. Team-based workforce experience desired.
Bachelor of Science in operations research, engineering, mathematics, or related field from an accredited college, minimum. MS technical degree preferred
