We provide innovative technology development, integration and analysis to the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and the Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC) in their mission to combat and defeat networks that employ IEDs.
We are seeking Modeling and Simulation Technicians, Systems Administrators, and Network Engineers. These positions require you to be able to install, operate, and maintain simulation computer workstations and networks in support of simulation based events. Candidates must be able to perform simulation systems administration and integration in an exercise environment. They must be able to support exercise design, planning and preparation, execution and post-exercise events. Candidates will be responsible for the interoperability of assorted simulation hardware and software components necessary for modeling and simulation driven exercises. Candidates must show an ability to prepare, monitor and evaluate simulation test plans and events. Candidate may be called upon to edit software/hardware documentation as needed. Candidate must be knowledgeable of distributed simulation protocols/communication technologies in support of remote operations conducted at various selected sites. This position requires experience with integration of government-purchased simulation support hardware/software at government training sites. Experience Requirements: Required Skills: 'BS in Computer Science or Information Technology 'Documented experience in Internetworking with TCP/IP and Cisco Routers 'Documented experience with routing in a TCP/IP environment 'Experience with integration of multiple operating systems in a single network environment 'System administration in Windows 2000/XP/Vista, UNIX, LINUX operating systems 'Prior modeling and simulations experience Desired Skills: 'Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is desirable '4 years experience and demonstrate capabilities in UNIX, Linux, Microsoft Operating Systems, and principles of database installation, configuration, and operation. 'Military experience in modeling and simulation is desired
