Mobile Computing Security Specialist 4\5
Provide security technical controls for multiple projects/products that are specifically targeted for delivery on mobile platforms, including iOS, Blackberry and Android operating systems. Defines security product specifications and intrusion/data loss techniques. Develops, implements and maintains support techniques and security system configurations. Works in partnership with Collaboration Services team to effectively deliver systems on Mobile Platforms that are secure and user acceptable. Will require on-site work location in the Bellevue area on a full time basis.
Works closely with vendors and industry groups to understand market direction, security strategies and influence decisions that will have near term impact on the company's ability to deliver applications to mobile platforms. Position Boeing to implement effective controls for employee provided devices to perform company work statement in a secure manner.
Successful candidate will have broad understanding of the technical controls available in industry that cover the multiple layers of the delivery system architecture including device hardware and operating systems, mobile application development, network/perimeter controls, server hardware and operating systems, middleware, and principles of Identity Management. Candidate will have experience in network integration with mobile application development and sustaining support structures. CISSP or equivalent certification is preferred. Development experience in Java and/or Objective-C desirable.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 4 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study. Level 5 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
