Microwave Component Design Engineer. Sr.
Microwave Component Design Engineer. Florida advanced microwave component design and manufacturing company has a need for an experienced design engineer. Circuit Level Experience: Knowledge of microwave sources, LNA, SSPA, mixers, filters and synthesizers. Specific and expert level experience in at least two of the following areas:
1) SSPA design through 10watt C-Band through Ka Band GaN, LDMOS and PHEMP technology
2) Agile hopping low phase noise PLL synthesizer architectures incorporating DDS and fractional N methods
3) Frequency Converters and cascaded chains of amplifiers and mixers
4) Ultra low phase noise signal source design with SAW, Ceramic Materials or BAW (Crystal)

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: BSEE, MSEE Must have experience designing, at the circuit board level, components such as; Isolators/circulators, frequency converters, oscillators, VCO, synthesizers, multipliers, etc. System architecture upconverters, down converters, Low noise - high intercept cascades for RADAR and SATCOM systems. Knowledgeable of phase noise requirements and connection to hardware methods. Packaging experience in harsh MIL/AERO environments.
